| AGING AND DISABILITY RESOURCES (ADR) is designated by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services / Aging and Long Term Support Administration as the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for Pierce County.
Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) are local, public, or private non-profit agencies mandated by the Older Americans Act (1973) to help adults aged 60+ and people with disabilities live independently in their homes. There are over 600 AAAs in the U.S. that provide resources like home-delivered meals, transportation, case management, and caregiver support. |

Frontier Park21800 Meridian S, Graham, WA 98338 PlaygroundThe new Frontier Park playground was made possible by local students and Graham community members. The remodeled playground is 5,800 square feet, featuring slides, talk tubes, a tunnel, overhead ladders, bridges, crow’s nest, swings, climbing wall and more. The access ramps and colorful recycled rubber surfacing allows easy access and improved safety for all users. Park Hours The park is open from 7:30 a.m. until dusk, unless otherwise posted. |

A 52-page guide to community resources for older adults in Pierce County. This is the final edition 2025Senior Media Services Ends Publication Of Where-To-Turn And Senior Scene. We regret to inform readers of this ENewsletter that Senior Media Services, the agency that publishes the Senior Scene monthly newspaper and the Where-To-Turn annual booklet, officially shut down on June 30. Their website at www.seniorscene.org also ended. We want to voice our loud appreciation to Pat Jenkins, the Program Director and Editor at Senior Media Services, for his many years of service in producing these quality publications for our Pierce County residents.
