Active Minds

Enhancing the social connection, independence, and overall well-being of older adults in the Graham community through inclusive, community-based programming.

Active Minds in Motion

This class will be offered every month on the
1st Tuesday and the 2nd Wednesday.

Cognitive and creative enrichment activities, including storytelling, arts-based workshops, and educational sessions on history, technology, and wellness.

Move to Improve

Music and movement offerings, including music therapy, line dancing, and low-impact exercise classes.

This class will be offered every month on the
3rd Thursday and 4th  Wednesday.

Engaging in music and movement offerings provides a holistic way to improve cardiovascular health, enhance cognitive function, reduce stress, and foster a welcoming community. Group programs that combine rhythmic sound with low-impact physical exercise accommodate diverse physical abilities, mobility limitations, and sensory preferences.

Personalized therapeutic activities that enrich quality of life, including for those experiencing memory loss.

Reduce social isolation and strengthen social connections.

Group activities for people living with dementia and their caregivers. Our strength-based, personalized approach engages curiosity, fosters personal expression,
and cultivates joy. 

 


Pierce County-funded COMMUNITY NEEDS GRANT and BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SUPPORT SERVICES programs require Participants to provide PUBLIC BENEFIT METRICS, which are confidential.
